The Accounting and Business Administration Majors require
              The General Education Core – 35 hours
              The Business Core – 48 hours
              Supportive Requirements – 3 hours
                             Accounting Major – 30 hours of accounting coursework
                             Business Administration Major- 15 to 18 hours in area of emphasis

Degree Plans

A total of 120 credit hours must be earned to complete a degree.

Associate of Science in Business

Business Administration, A.S.

The Associate of Science in Business Administration consists of 60 hours, including 35 hours of general education requirements, 18 hours of business core courses, and 6 hours of directed electives at the 10000 level or above, and 1 hour of general electives at the 10000 level or above. The Associate degree can serve as a stand-alone degree, and the courses are partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting or Business Administration.

• ACCT 20003 - Principles of Financial Accounting
• ACCT 20103 - Principles of Managerial Accounting
• ECON 21003 - Principles of Macroeconomics
• ECON 22003 - Principles of Microeconomics
• BUSI 21003 - Business Statistics I
• BLAW 20003 - Legal Environment of Business

Electives: 7 hours

Choose two courses from the following:

• CPSI 10003 - Microcomputer Applications
• FINN 11903 - Personal Financial Economics
• BUSI 10103 - Introduction to Business
• BUSI 20103 - Business Communications
• And another 1 hour of any 10000-level or above course selected by the student and his/her advisor.
